| Desciption: | The Birmingham Homeownership Center provides potential homebuyers with the information and assistance they need to make decisions on the critical aspects of homeownership. The Center promotes sustainable homeownership for our clients through the development and delivery of quality, standardized education, counseling and related support services. Such topics as locating the right home, becoming credit-worthy, budgeting, securing a mortgage loan and much more are covered in the Center’s classes. Counseling sessions are held in the privacy of our offices with one counselor and one client and may include, at the client’s request, an inquiry of the credit report and score.
